The G. Ph. Telemann OrchesterIt was founded in 1993 in Bielsko-Biała. Musicians play the historic instruments (music pieces from repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries) and the contemporary instruments (from repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries). The Orchester collaborates still with many musicians and singers from our country and abroad: Ales Rypan, Permonik Choir (Czechy), musicians from "Sinfonietta Żilina" and "The Chamber Orchester of Čadca" (Slovakia), Przemysław Salamoński, Mathew 0'Shea (England), Robert Grudzień, Georgij Agratina (Ukraine), Jarosław Adamus (France) and others. The Orchester performed with Kaja Danczowska during "The 17th Music Decade" in Cieszyn, October 2006, abroad: in Weiler (Germany and in Wissembourg (France), May 2005; London (England), April 2006; in Weiler (Germany), a common project with "Sinfonia Algovia" in July 2006. Musicians of G. Ph. Telemann Orchester took part in many music festivals in Poland. In Bielsko-Biała Orchester performs regularly in Bielskie Centrum Kultury, Teatr Polski, in various sacral and concert halls. The Orchester recorded 5 CDs: "Barocco con fuoco", "Viva Espańa", "The Music Ballad of Europe", "Ad Dei Gloriam" and "A. Vivaldi's Four Seasons". The ensemble got a prize "Ikar 2001 for past eminent cultural activities in Bielsko-Biała". web: telemann.prv.pl |
